Mining Museum and show cavesIn the Museum in the "Knappenheim" in Mühlbach you can learn all about copper mining from the celtic times through to the modern age. In the show caves you are transported on a journey through 4000 years of mining history. Adventure stations demonstrate the difficult task of mining copper. |
Wanderbus & cable cars
The Hochkönig Wanderbus runs between Mühlbach and Dienten daily from mid-May to mid-October. The Mühlbach cable car is in operation from 2nd July to 24th September every Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday from 9.30 am to 5.00 pm in fine weather.
